In memory of my beloved partner Martin, much loved daddy to Martin, Michaela and William, and Granda to Luca, Conor, Rhia, Farah, Theo and Arabella.
I remember the first day we meet,
It’s etched in my memory forever.
I remember our last day together,
It’s etched in my heart forever.
You were my first, my last, my endless love,
But most of all you were my best friend.
No one knows the heartache that lays behind my smile,
No one knows the many times I have broken down and cried.
Loving you was easy, I did it every day.
Missing you is a heartache that never goes away.
Gone from our home but not from our hearts.
