The death has occurred of:
Martin Trainor
We, the family of the Late Martin Trainor wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to everyone who offered their sympathies and support to us during our recent sad loss.
We are very grateful to everyone who paid their respects, sent Mass or sympathy cards, shared kind messages via social media, or contacted us by phone. We are truly grateful to our extended family, friends and neighbours for the respect, kindness and outstanding support they gave us in so many ways throughout the wake and funeral. Thank you to all who gave gifts of food, flowers, or donated money to Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke.
Heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Padraig McKenna and Rev. Fr. Barney McCahery for the most beautiful and fitting Funeral Mass, to Eleanor Farry and Vincie Carr for the uplifting music, to the Eucharistic Ministers, and to all who participated so graciously in the Funeral Mass and Guard of honour. A thank you is also extended to Coa Community Centre for providing refreshments following the burial.
Our sincere appreciation to Very Rev. Canon John McKenna, Fr Padraig McKenna (Kilskerry Parish) and Fr. Raymond Donnelly (St. Michael’s Parish), who visited Martin during his short illness and gave us great spiritual comfort and support.
We wish to thank the Paramedics, staff of the Emergency Department, Ward 5 and the Palliative care team in SWAH who provided care and looked after Martin in his final days.
We are deeply grateful to John McKeegan Funeral Directors for the dignity and compassion with which everything was handled and to those who prepared Martin’s final resting place with such attention and care.
As it is impossible to thank you all individually, please accept this acknowledgement of the family’s appreciation of your support.
Martins Months Mind mass will be celebrated on Sunday 9th November at 9.30am in St Marys Church Coa.
