The family of the late Mary Elizabeth Monaghan would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported and sympathised with us during this difficult time.
We are deeply grateful for the kindness shown through your prayers, sympathy cards, messages, flowers and for the many acts of support and comfort we have received. Your presence, whether in person or in spirit, has meant more to us than words can express.
We would like to extend our special thanks to all medical staff including home help staff, ambulance crew and all members of Altnagelvin Hospital who cared for Mary Elizabeth with compassion and dignity, and to those who helped us through the days surrounding her passing. We are grateful to Armstrong Funeral directors for their professionalism in organising the wake and funeral, also to Rev Andrew Topley for delivering such a beautiful funeral service.
We are very grateful to all who made generous donations to Cancer research in Elizabeth’s memory.
A special thank you to all those who attended the wake and funeral. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered and greatly appreciated.
