The loving family of the late Mary Louise McConnell would like to express our thanks to those who supported us during this difficult time.
To those who showed up to the wake with food, well wishes and spare chairs. To those who continue to check on us and help when we need you. To those who made sure the house never felt empty. To those who made sure her funeral was a send off full of love. To the wonderful staff and those who joined us as guests at Newtownabbey Crematorium for the final send off.
To the paramedic who did everything he could for us, to WJ O’Brien who treated us like family, to Father Roni Zacharias and the wonderful singers at St Joseph’s Chapel who sent our Mommy off with beautiful music, one of her favourites This Little Light of Mine, and kind words. To the friends and family who kept us going. To our neighbours for helping in any way we needed. To friends further afield for flying back to say goodbye.
We have had so much support that it would take a thousand words to list every name, but to all those who showed up for us, who attended the wake, brought flowers and sympathy cards, those who took care of her wee pal Benji, who helped us in any way. To those who passed around a tea tray and told us stories about our Mommy.
