Family Acknowledgement for the Late Mary (Maisie) McCusker
58 Drummackan Road,
Coolcran,
Tempo

We, the family of the late Maisie McCusker, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent sad bereavement.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who paid their respects, sent Mass or sympathy cards, shared kind messages via social media, or contacted us by phone. Sincere thanks to those who assisted during the wake—providing refreshments, managing parking, organising seating—and to all who attended her Requiem Mass.

We extend our sincere thanks to Monsignor Peter O’Reilly and Fr John Halton for their spiritual support and for celebrating such a comforting Requiem Mass. We also thank the sacristan, Geraldine McHugh, all who participated in the liturgy, Francis and Sean McCann as Eucharistic Ministers, and Jacqui Bannon for the beautiful and reverent music.

Thank you to John & Paul McKeegan and Len Carberry for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, and to John Noble for so beautifully preparing Maisie's final resting place. Special thanks also to Mary of Howe’s Flowers for the beautiful floral tributes, and to Carol and the Miltown Manor for the much-appreciated refreshments following the burial.

Finally, a sincere thank you to all the staff in the Renal Unit at Omagh Primary Care Complex for the dedicated care and kindness given to Maisie, to Tommy Doherty, the drivers and Ambulance personnel whom transported Maisie, the carers that called and assisted Maisie at home with such dignity and lastly the nursing and palliative staff of Ward 1 in SWAH for the compassionate care Maisie received.

We again are truly blessed to have received such love and support from our relatives, friends, and wonderful neighbours. Your kindness has been a great comfort to us and continues to help us through this difficult time.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

May Maisie’s soul be granted peace and eternal rest.

Maisie’s Month’s Mind Mass together with her brother Tommy’s 9th anniversary mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tempo, on Friday, 19th August at 7:00 p.m.
