The death has occurred of:
Mary CONLAN (née Cusack)
We, the family of the late Mary Conlan (neé Cusack) would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us and provided support during our recent sad bereavement.
Thanks to the many relatives and friends who attended the wake / funeral and to those that travelled a great distance to be there. To those that telephoned, sent messages via social media, sent letters, provided food and cooked meals. A special word of thanks to the family members and close friends in the kitchen that helped to serve beverages and provided nourishment to the family throughout the wake.
We offer sincere gratitude to Fr. Lawrence Boyle and Fr. Brian McNally for the spiritual support and for celebrating the personal and supportive Requiem Mass. Thank you to the musicians to Margaret Ann Conlon and Patrick Slevin for their participation in providing the beautiful music which touched us profoundly and brought us comfort and helped us honour our mother with love and grace. Thank you also to the Sacristan and Eucharistic Ministers.
Thank you to Michelle Coey @ Coey Creations for the precious photo frames, personalised candles and mass booklets for Mary’s Requiem Mass.
Thank you to the entire medical team at Oaks Family Practise, Boots Pharmacy, Paramedics and Antrim Area Hospital (Coronary Care Unit) for their dedication, care and support.
Thanks to Stephen Mallon for the variety of beautiful floral tributes. Also Cookstown Community Center for aiding us with supplies for the wake.
Sincerest gratitude to Joanna and team at Niall A. Loughran Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified manner. Also to Mid Ulster (Cookstown) Council who prepared Mary’s final resting place.
Mary was a very much loved and adored Mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, godmother, friend and neighbour.
We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support at this difficult time. Mary’s radiant smile and kind spirit touched the lives of so many. Her warmth will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation.
Mary’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 7th February at 6:00pm at Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown and can also be viewed using the link below.
