Kelly Mary (née Caulfield)
The family of the late Mary Kelly wish to express their heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to everyone who supported and sympathised with them during their recent bereavement.
A special word of thanks is extended to all the doctors and nurses of Loy Medical Centre for the unwavering and outstanding care, dedication and kindness shown to our mother, and for the compassion and dignity provided during her final days.
We would like to offer a sincere thank-you to the Marie Curie and District Nurses for the invaluable reassurance, support and dignified care delivered to our mother in her last few days. We want to thank Dr Kehoe from the Northern Health and Social Care Trust, who provided specialist guidance and attentive medical oversight during our mother’s illness.
We are deeply grateful to our family, friends, and neighbours for the kindness and support they have shown to us at this time. We would like to thank everyone who called at the house during the wake, to those who phoned, sent flowers and messages, who brought food and gifts, and to all those who attended our mother’s funeral or watched it on the webcam. Your kindness and thoughtfulness brought us great comfort during this difficult time.
We would like to thank Fr Paddy Hughes and Monsignor Curry for attending to our mother during her illness and for the support they provided to our family, particularly in the lead up to her death. We would like to thank them for officiating at her Requiem Mass to celebrate her life, which gave us great spiritual comfort and strength. We are truly thankful to them both and also want to thank the church sacristan
We are very grateful to the management and staff of LCC Group for their help and support throughout this time. We would also like to thank Mickey McElhatton and the staff at the Greenvale Hotel for the lovely food and refreshments provided at the wake and after the funeral service. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Andrea from the Pizza Deck who kindly sent food for the family during the wake.
A special word of thanks is extended to the members of St. Michael’s GAC, Lissan, who provided stewardship and directed traffic during our mother’s wake.
We would like to sincerely thank K.M. Quinn Funeral Directors for the dignity, professionalism, and respect shown to our family at such a difficult time. Your calm guidance and care were greatly appreciated.
We would like to thank those who participated in the funeral ceremony including those who delivered the readings and the Prayers of the Faithful, to the Eucharistic ministers, and to those who brought gifts to the altar. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Margaret-Ann Conlon, Deirbhile Canavan and Mickey O’Neill who provided the beautiful music during the funeral Mass, which enriched the service and provided such comfort to our family.
We are very grateful to Gortreagh Printing for printing the mass booklets. We would also like to thank the grave diggers and everyone who contributed in any way to making our mother’s funeral so personal and comforting.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
It is consoling to see the outpouring of support through attendances, messages and cards by so many for someone so deeply cherished and loved as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend and neighbour.
Mary’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Michael’s Church, Lissan, on Friday 30th January at 7.30pm.
Mary, Queen of the Gaels, have mercy on her soul.
St. Padre Pio, pray for her.
