We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, family and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, service and cremation, and who provided emotional and practical support to us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations to NI Chest, Heart and Stroke – We are truly grateful.

To all Doctors and Nurses at Ardmore Surgery, the Acute Care team, the Community Stroke team, Enabled Care, the staff at Loane House, and especially Dympna Daly and the girls from Southern Trust who cared for Mary during her illness, we will be forever indebted for your kindness and care.

Thank you to Sinn Féin offices in both Dungannon and Coalisland for their advice and guidance.
Thank you to Clarkes GAA, Dungannon for providing chairs, cups and teapots which were used for the wake.
Thank you to Cahal McErlean for creating the mass booklets.
Thank you to Sinead Goodwin for providing the flowers.
Thank you to Malachi Cush for the singing at the funeral, and to Michael for the services in readiness for the mass.

Mary would have been proud of the guard of honour displayed at her funeral mass by staff and students representing St Joseph’s Grammar School, Donaghmore. The family thank you for this kind gesture.

A special thank you to Móna Uí Dhochartaigh for the beautiful reflection read during the mass, and the whole Daly family for their support during Mary’s illness and the funeral arrangements.

Our heartfelt thank you goes to Father McAleer of St Patrick’s, Donaghmore, for all your comforting words and the compassion shown to both Mary and her family.

Thank you to Lakelands Funeral Home and Crematorium, Cavan for the dignified cremation service.

To the funeral directors PJ Quinn and Son for their professional yet personal handling in carrying out the funeral arrangements, you helped eased our burden and we hold you dearly in our prayers.

We extend our utmost thanks to the community of Donaghmore, relatives and friends of Mary and Patsy, of whom it would be impossible to acknowledge individually.

Mary was a precious, loving mother, grandmother and great grand-mother and will be truly missed by us all.
