Mary McGrath
McGrath Mary-Ann (nee Howe)
28th June 2026. We the family of the late Mary-Ann McGrath wish to acknowledge the many
expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following the bereavement
of our loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, who passed away peacefully
surrounded by her family on Sunday 28th June, 2026. We would like to offer our heartfelt
thanks to our neighbours, family and friends, who provided so much support during such a
difficult time. May we also express our deepest gratitude to the Carers that provided such
comfort to Mary. The First Responders Darragh and Julie, the Ambulance Service that
provided excellent care and attention in her final journey. We would like to extend our thanks
to Father McMorrow for conducting a beautiful Funeral. Sincere thanks to Jackie Bannon for
the beautiful music and Cara Rose Quigley for playing the fiddle. A sincere thank you to
Connolly’s for providing beautiful refreshments and meal after the Funeral. A heartful and
special word for Paschal Conway Funeral Directors and Nigel for the sensitive and
professional manner in which he conducted the Funeral arrangements. Also for being an
exceptional support to the family.
Sadly Missed and fondly remembered as the loving Wife of Joe RIP, dear mother of Shane,
Michelle, Edel and Mary who died in infancy. Dearly loved Grandmother of Leanne,
Shannon, Tiegan, Amy, Jodie, Saoirse and Sarah Jayne who died in infancy. Also by her
Great Grandchildren Aoife, Lexi, Lorcan, Kyren, Luke and Conor. Predeceased Brothers
and Family Circle.
Mary’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on the 1st August, 2026 at 6:30pm in St. Patrick’s
Church, Kilesher.
