Mary RAINEY
Rainey Mary passed away peacefully 28th January 2026 at Mater Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of John, much loved mother of John, Catherine, Brian, Gerard, Christine and Laura, cherished grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her entire family circle and friends.
Mary is reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast, BT1 2GX until Monday 2nd February when she will return to her family home 13 Lansdowne Road, Belfast BT15 4DB. House strictly private on Monday. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome on Tuesday and Wednesday between 2.00pm-8.00pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday 5th February at 1.00pm in St Therese of Lisieux Church, Somerton Road. Mass can be viewed live via https://www.holy-familyparish.com/webcam followed by private Cremation for family and friends only at Newtownabbey Crematorium, Doagh Road.
