We, the family, sons Kieran and Patrick, daughters Helen, Kathleen, Emair, Patricia and Bernadette of the late Mary Rooney (RIP),
sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement.

To our relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who called to the house, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, telephoned, sent
messages, brought food and gifts, to Longstone GAC for providing chairs, Kilmorey Arms Hotel, Kilkeel, Diamonds Restaurant, Warrenpoint, and Oh So Lean, Kilkeel, for the food received, to all who helped in and outside the home, especially her grandchildren who Granny would be very proud of, to anyone who made donations to Fr Nicky Hennity’s missions, and to all who attended the wake and Funeral Mass, we would like to say thank you.

A Special word of thanks to Fr Liam McKinney for his support and prayers at Daisy Hill Hospital. To Fr Hennity for visiting Mary throughout the years at her home and offering prayers and support at her wake and for celebrating a beautiful Requiem Mass, To Fr
Colin Crossey for calling at the house and offering prayers and support, to Fr Colum Curran for attending the funeral, to Linda who
provided the beautiful music, to the lay ministers of the Eucharist, Jarleth, Brendan and Eileen, who assisted at the Funeral Mass,
to the staff and pupils of St Colman’s Primary School, Kilkeel, for doing guard of honour and to Danielle, Blaine and Niamh for providing beautiful food afterwards.

We would like to say a special thank you, To Dr Jadczak, Nurse Bronagh Rogers, Shona McClelland and staff of Kilkeel Primary Care
Centre, Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and paramedics, doctors and nurses of A+E Department, Daisy Hill Hospital, doctors,
nurses and staff of Level 4 AMU Ward, Daisy Hill Hospital and to Tim, Martin and staff of Annalong Pharmacy, our sincere thanks goes
to all of you for the kind attention given to Mary over her short illness and over the years.

A Special Word of thanks goes to Nicky.Doran, Paul Doran and Eugene Lively for the dignified and courteous manner in which they
carried out the funeral arrangements.

As it is Impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.

Mary's Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph’s Church, Ballymartin, on Sunday 7th December 2025 at 11.00am.
