Mary TREACY
12th April 2026
The family of the late Mary Treacy wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us on the loss of our beautiful mother following her short illness. We wish to thank family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who supported us during this difficult time.
Our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the wake, funeral, sent flowers, mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of condolence on social media.
We are grateful to those who brought food to the house, particularly Pizzamac for their most welcome pizzas; to those who helped so generously in serving tea during the wake, and to those who helped with parking. Thank you most sincerely to the staff of Ward 8 in SWAH, Three Spires surgery, Omagh Group Pharmacy, District Nursing Team, Marie Curie nurses, Foyle Hospice, HSC and most especially the carers who attended mummy so respectfully and lovingly.
We are sincerely grateful for the support of our priests who visited mummy in SWAH and at home, Msgr. O’Reilly, Fr Kevin Mc Elhennon, Fr Malachy Gallagher, David Scott and Fr Brian O’ Fearraigh; to Fr Kevin and Fr Brian for celebrating mummy’s requiem mass.
We wish to thank Donna Taggart for her beautiful music and singing which enriched the liturgy so meaningfully, and the sacristan and Eucharistic Ministers.
Thanks also to the grave digger who prepared mummy’s resting place and to the catering staff of the Old Charm Inn, Carrickmore for preparing and serving refreshments following the funeral and to Killyclogher Hall for the use of their premises.
We are deeply grateful to Peter and Leo (O’Kane Bros, Funeral Directors) for their professional and dignified manner in supporting and guiding us through mummy’s funeral arrangements.
We trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
Mary’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Christ the King Church, Strathroy, Omagh BT79 7DW on Saturday 16th May at 7pm.
Padre Pio pray for her.
