The family of the late Matilda Ann (Tillie) Virtue would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who supported and sympathised with us on the recent passing of Tillie. Thank you for your kind cards, messages, provisions and calls to our mother’s late home. Particular thanks to all those who cared for our mum in her final few years – the ‘girls’ from Glencaring for their many kindnesses and attention to her; wonderful neighbours for their faithful visits and enquiries; the nurses who gently attended her and her doctors for their guidance in last days. You are all very much appreciated.
We also wish to thank Rev. Malcolm Ferry for his support and his conducting of the funeral service; the Select Vestry of Colaghty Parish Church for providing the facilities for the committal and the tea afterwards. Thanks too for the professional and quiet way Hugh Wade & Sons conducted their services to us.
We trust that this short expression will be taken by all as personal thanks to them, and appreciation for your many kindnesses toward Tillie and ourselves.
