Matt's wife Hilda, daughter Julie and family circle want to thank most sincerely all their friends for the support and sympathy shown to them during the very difficult days of Matt's illness and death.
To the Doctors and all entire Staff of Ward 32, Altnagelvin Hospital for their great care and kindness to both of us during Matt's time there. To the Rapid Response Team, to Dr Loftus and Dr McKeon and district nurses from Aberfoyle Surgery who attended Matt over many months with such great care, the carers from Derry Strabane Agency who cared and lifted his spirits daily, Bradley's Chemist, William Street for their Medical delivery service - thank you to all.
To Fr Paul Farren, Fr Tom Ryan for celebrating the comforting and consoling Requiem Mass and to all who came, Annmarie and Aidan for the beautiful singing and music of well chosen hymns, to Bishop Donal, Fr Shaun Doherty, Fr Michael Canny for visiting and prayers - thank you.
To the Management and Staff of Bishop's Gate Hotel for their generous and welcomed refreshments after the burial and the Management and Staff of the City Hotel for their caring support over many year - thank you.
To Gerry our taxi driver and Bridge Bus Transport, who kept us socially and spiritually active over the years and to Dermot our Eucharistic Minister for your weekly visits - thank you.
To everyone who travelled long distances, called to our home for a prayer visit, brought Mass and sympathy cards, sent letters, emails, social media messages and beautiful flowers - thank you.
To our "forever with us friends", Deirdre and Carolann, our Scheme Manager, Bredge, all our kind neighbours in Fr Mulvey Park - thank you for your past and ongoing support and help.
Last but definitely not least - Bradley & McLaughlin, Funeral Undertakers, for your professional and sensitive care through all the arrangements - thank you to each and every one of you. We shall be forever grateful.
