The family of the late Maureen Dugan would like to express our deepest thanks to everyone who supported us in our loss.
We are deeply grateful to the O’Donnell family for hosting her wake and all that attended her wake, funeral, sent mass cards and expressed condolences.
We would like to make a special thank you to her wonderful carers from both the Trust and Byron agency. They provided her with much needed comfort and friendship during her illness. We would like to thank the Sperrin room staff, District nurses, hospice team and all the doctors and nurses involved in her care.
We offer sincere thanks to Fr. Farren for his beautiful funeral mass. The meaningful homily and reassuring presence were invaluable. We would also like to thank Fr. Oliver McCrossan for attending from Dalgan, his presence was so meaningful. We would like to thank all involved in making the funeral mass so special, the readers and all those who helped give her a wonderful send off. We would like to make a special mention of thank you for the beautiful music, provided by Aine McDaid, Fidelma McNamee and Sarah McGarrity.
Finally, thank you to all her many friends, carers, nieces and nephews who supported her in her life and illness, there are too many to mention individually but please accept this as a token of our lasting appreciation.
A Mass will be celebrated in Maureen's memory in St Eugene's Cathedral, Derry on Saturday 16th May 2026 at 7.30 pm. Everyone welcome.
