The death has occurred of:
Maureen ROONEY (née Bell)
ROONEY, 5th December 2025, MAUREEN (Nee Bell), peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of the late James (Jimmy) and much loved mother of Berni, Paul, Kate and Milly, mother-in-law of James, Jenny and the late Arthur and Mike, a loving grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law and aunt. May she rest in peace.
Requiem Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick on Tuesday 9th December at 11.30am. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Killough Road.
Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at her late family home 7 Benderg Avenue Downpatrick BT30 6RS on Sunday 7th December from 2.00pm -7.00pm and Monday 8th December from 2.00pm - 7.00pm.
House private on morning of the funeral please.
