***Month's Mind Mass for Max Chism***
Died 2nd May, 2026

The family of Max Chism, wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to all their family members and friends who have supported them following the devasting loss of their beloved Husband, Daddy, Father-in-law, Grandad, Son, Brother & Uncle.
A grateful word of thanks to all the district Nurses and Marie Curie Nurses for their attention to detail and caring manner in which they helped care for Max daily. He loved every single of you girls that cared for him.
To Dr. Bryson and all the staff in ward 50 in the North West Cancer Centre for their incredible care and support they gave Max.
To the Pharmacy staff at MediCare Central Drive and Belmont Pharmacy staff for their compassion towards helping Max with everything he needed over the past 2 & a half years of his illness.
Thanks to the wonderful doctors and reception staff of Park Medical Practice Especially Dr. O' Donnell & Dr. McClune for their continuous support and care for Max throughout his termnial illness.
To the Foyle Hospice Dr's & staff and Strabane District Home Caring Team, Marie Curie in-home Overnight caring staff especially Amanda, for all thank you for the compassion, dignity, support and understanding you have shown to Max and to us over the last few months.
We as a family are overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who made the effort to call to the Wake House and attend the Funeral, especially those travelled from Max's Birth Town of Omagh to be with us during this difficult time.
Thank you to everyone who sent messages, cards and flowers. To those who helped with refreshments and brought food to the house, your kindness and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
Sincere thank you to Fr. Ignacy CC at St. Mary’s Church in Creggan for offering such a beautiful Requiem Mass and praying at the Graveside.
Thank you to all our family members who contributed in making the Mass so personal and heartfelt.
To Kieran, Warren and all the staff at McClafferty’s Funeral Directors, thank you for everything you have done for Max and us as a family. Your professionalism was exceptional and nothing was ever a problem.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually as there was so many people who helped us during the most difficult time of our lives, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our heartfelt appreciation.

Max's Month's Mind Mass will be held in St. Mary's Church, Creggan on Saturday (May 30th) at 6:30 p.m. for all who would like to attend.
