We, the family of the late Margaret (May) McNally (née McCahery), wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us during and since our recent bereavement. We are so grateful for all the support given to us in this time of loss by extended family, friends, neighbours and colleagues who came to the wake, helped out during the wake, attended the funeral, brought food, helped with car parking, visited, sent cards, sent flowers, telephoned and left online messages of condolences, or supported us in any other way.
Sincere thanks to Fr O’Dwyer for the beautiful Requiem mass and his guidance during the wake and funeral, to Fr McCartan for his guidance and support, and for attending mum at home over the years.
We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all the health care professionals with whom mum came into contact with, especially; Carrickmore Health Centre, Tallon’s Pharmacy Sixmilecross, District nursing team, paramedics and the staff at South West Acute Hospital. To mum’s carers; Lakeland Community Care and North West Care group, for your kindess, compassion and professionalism shown to mum, we are forever grateful.
Thank you to Leo Donaghy and Michael McGuigan who carried out the funeral arrangements in such a dignified and professional manner, and for their guidance and support over the wake.
To Noleen Neil and Claire Sharkey for their beautiful singing and music which made mum's funeral mass so special and thank you to The Whistler’s Inn for the catering after the funeral. Thanks to the altar servers, Chloe and Donncha, the grave diggers and to Jackie Ward’s Nisa Sixmilecross.
To Eileen, for Eucharist Minister, and for your guidance and support during the wake.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude and appreciation.
May her kind and gentle soul, rest in eternal peace.
May’s months mind mass will be celebrated Saturday 22nd August 2026 at 12pm, St Mary’s Church Dunmoyle. St Padre Pio, pray for her.
