Fearon (Dorsey, Cullyhanna) died peacefully surrounded by his loving family 1st April 2026. Míceál RIP, beloved and only son of the late Eilish and Peter Fearon. Deeply loved and cherished brother of Angela (Turley) and the late Majella (Jella) (McKeever). Much-loved brother-in-law of Mickey and Michael.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Míceál’s remains will repose at his home house, where he lived with Majella, Michael, Michaela, Ciaran, Peter and Eilish: 74 Drumalt Road, Dorsey, Cullyhanna, BT35 0QD from 6pm until 10pm on Wednesday and from 12pm until 9pm on Thursday. House private for family only on Friday morning. His remains will arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Cullyhanna, for 10:30am Funeral Service on Good Friday, followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Meigh.

Míceál will be forever loved and sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Michaela, Ciaran, Peter and Eilish (McKeever), Rebecca and Ryan (Turley); His grand nieces and nephews; his cousins Mary Luckie and Mairead McGahon (McMahon); the wider family circles of McMahons, Luckies, Mortons, Turleys and McKeevers; his family neighbours and many friends.

Míceál brought great joy to all who knew him. His infectious laughter, love of singing, dancing and his gentle, affectionate nature made him truly special. He found happiness in the simple things: his music, his routines, and most of all, being surrounded by those he loved. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his playful spirit, and the love he showed in his own unique and beautiful way.

The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Míceál throughout his wonderfully fulfilled life and into the later stages of his life, especially the staff and residents of Digney’s Care Home, Cairnhill Nursing Home, Rathfriland Road, Newry. Also a special thanks also to his GP, the district and community nurses, the acute care team and Daisy Hill Hospital for their kindness and care.

Flowers welcomed or donations in lieu, if desired, to The Rainbow Club, Crossmaglen (Collection bucket at the family home).

“Forever loved, never forgotten”.
