16th August 2026. Peacefully at home. Late of Woodlands, Holywood. Dearly loved husband of Teresa and much-loved father of daughter Rachel and Keith, daughter Corrin and son Phil. Devoted and adored grandfather of Lucas, Thomas, Isabel, Sally, Ruth, George, James and Matthew.

Funeral Service to take place at Ballygilbert Presbyterian Church, Belfast Road, Bangor on Wednesday 19th August 2026 at 2:00pm. Followed by a committal into Clandeboye Cemetery.

House private.

Deepest sympathy to Teresa, Rachel, Corin, Phil and Mike's extended family whom he cherished. Mike has been a dear friend since my school days and we shared many adventures over the years. His ability to listen and empathise when advice was sought together with his warm smile and happy disposition made for many memorable get-togethers, which my wife and I will miss. Ours was a very deep friendship going back over FIFTY years. I always appreciated Michael’s advice given very quietly and we could share our different ups and downs. Michael was a great ENCOURAGER of OTHERS despite his own serious illness. HE NEVER COMPLAINED and always spoke of the GOODNESS of God.
