We, the family of the late Michael (Mickey) Doherty, wish to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us and supported us during the recent loss of our much-loved husband, father, grandfather and brother.
We would like to thank our family, friends who travelled far and wide, neighbours and everyone who attended the wake and funeral. Your presence, prayers and support brought us great comfort during such a difficult time.
Our sincere thanks to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolence and floral tributes. Thank you also to everyone who provided food and refreshments, helped at the wake, or assisted our family in any way. Your kindness and generosity will always be remembered.
A very special word of thanks goes to Melissa from Foyle Hospice for her outstanding care, compassion and dignity she showed us and our daddy.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude.
Michael’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on 11th August at 7:30pm in St. Mary’s Church in Creggan. Everyone is welcome.
