The family of the late Michael (Mick) Murtagh wish to express their heartfelt
and sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them during their recent sad bereavement.
Thanks to the staff of Ramone 1 CAH who cared for Mick, the home-care carers who looked after Mick with compassion and kindness and went over and beyond during this last 9 months. Thanks to Tynan Surgery and Mc Keever's chemist and Marie-Curie for their help and support.
Thanks to all our relatives, neighbours and friends who visited Mick regularly over the years and during his illness it means so much to us. Thanks to all who called at the house during the wake and attended the funeral, brought food, sent mass cards, sympathy cards and online condolences.
A special word of thanks to all who helped at the wake making tea, your kindness and support brought us great comfort. Special thanks to Fr Sean Moore for visiting Mick in hospital and for his prayers and Fr Barry Matthews for the beautiful requiem mass, thanks to Martin the sacristan and Catherine Grimley and Dermot Mc Cusker for the beautiful music. Thanks also to Dunne's stores Monaghan for all the food items and Cordellas for the food at wake.
Our sincere thanks to Eamon Hughes funeral directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out all of the funeral arrangements and to the grave diggers preparing Micks final resting place. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation.
Micks month's mind will be celebrated on Friday 3 October at 7.30pm in St Johns Chapel Middletown.
