Michael Deery
It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Deery, peacefully at Longfield Care Home on 18th October 2026.
Late of 15 Galliagh Park, Derry. May he rest in peace.
Beloved father to all of his loving children. A much loved Granda to all his grandchildren. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his sons and daughters-in-law, wider family circle and friends.
Michael will be reposing at his son William’s home, 100 Ederowen Park, Galliagh from 5pm this afternoon, Sunday 18th October. Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday 20th October at 10.20am for Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
