In loving memory of Michael Devlin RIP who passed away on 26th November 2025.
The family of Michael Devlin wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who supported us during our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the wake, funeral and burial and to those who sent mass cards, messages or supported us in any way. To our wonderful family, neighbours and close friends and to those who travelled from afar, thank you. We will forever be indebted for all your kindness, generosity and presence which brought us great comfort in our time of need and will never be forgotten.
We would like to sincerely thank the staff of Royal Victoria Hospital, the Belfast City Hospital and especially the Marie Curie Hospice for the compassion shown and dignified care provided to Michael during his illness.
A special thanks to Father Brendan Hickland for his spiritual guidance and support and for celebrating the requiem mass. Our sincere thanks also to Orna Herron, Conor Maginn and Daragh Cushnen for the music which enriched the mass. We’d also like to thank Father Eamon McCamley for officiating at Michael’s burial at Edendork, Co. Tyrone and to Coalisland Na Fianna GAC for the respectful guard of honour outside the chapel.
Finally we wish to thank O’Kanes Funeral Directors for your help, guidance and reassurance and for the dignified way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
Michael’s month’s mind mass will be held at Good Shepherd Church, Ormeau Road on Boxing Day at 11am.
