Michael DONNELLY

We, the family of the late Michael Donnelly, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who extended their sympathy and support following our recent loss.

We were deeply touched by the generosity of everyone who called to pay their respects, offered messages of comfort, attended the funeral in person and remotely, sent Mass and sympathy cards, brought food, or provided assistance in any way. We were especially touched by those who travelled long distances and from overseas to attend the Requiem Mass, and we express our heartfelt gratitude for your support.

We are deeply grateful to all those who helped care for Dad at Glenview Care Home. We cannot fully express our gratitude for the care, compassion and attention to detail shown by carers, nurses and The Sanville Group, not only to Dad but also to us as a family, especially during his final days.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr Armstrong, Errigal Medical Centre and the Hospital at Home Team, who provided Dad with care, kindness, comfort and compassion. We are truly grateful for everything you did for Dad and for us.

A sincere thank you to Fr Pat Hannigan, who visited Dad during his illness, prayed with him and administered the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, bringing him great comfort.

Our sincere thanks to Fr Eamonn McCamley for his support before and during the wake, for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass, and for his guidance throughout.

Thank you to Terri for the excellent meal and service in The Mill Court, Coalisland.

Thank you to The Bellas for the beautiful music and for their guidance.

A sincere thank you to Eden Blooms, Coalisland, for the beautiful flowers and your compassion.

To the many friends, relatives and neighbours who called, phoned or messaged to check on Dad — thank you for your friendship and concern.

We would also like to express our sincere thanks to B Martin Funeral Directors for their professionalism, compassion and guidance throughout this difficult time.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere and lasting gratitude.

Dad’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated together with that of his beloved wife, Julia Donnelly (née Devlin), who died on 1st March 2026, on Thursday 2nd April 2026 at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Clonoe.

Together in life, together in love,
Now together in God’s care above.
Reunited in peace, your journey done,
Forever together, two hearts now one

Loved beyond words,
Missed beyond measure,
Remembered always,
Forever in our hearts.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on their souls.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

St Joseph pray for him.
St Padre Pio pray for him.
Our Lady pray for him

Have you considered?
