ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Michael Mc Cullagh

The family of Michael Mc Cullagh would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us after Michael’s death. We are deeply touched by the many people who took the time to remember Michael, offered kind words, shared memories and helped us to both celebrate and grieve our great loss. Thank you to all who attended Michael’s Funeral Mass and burial, to those who came to the wake and the many who sent Mass cards and messages of condolence and support. Our heartfelt thanks to friends and neighbours who helped in so many ways — bringing food, supplying chairs, making and serving tea, and assisting with traffic and car parking. We extend our thanks to
Fr Seán O’Donnell for his prayerful support and assistance with funeral preparations and Requiem Mass. Thank you also to Fr McLaughlin, Fr Donnelly, Fr Colhoun, Fr Doherty, Fr O’Kane, Fr Lagan, Fr Mc Devitt and Monsignor Dolan for your prayers and kindness. Thank you to Urney St Columbas for providing the guard of honour, which we are sure Michael would have appreciated. A special word of thanks to staff and all those in the Sperrin Unit who cared for Michael during his illness, and to the many people who visited him at home — your presence and kindness brought great comfort and solace and made his illness more bearable. Thank you to those who prepared the hall after Michael’s funeral, and to Sinead and her team for providing the catering. Thank you to Jude of Quigley Funeral Directors for your professionalism and support throughout the wake and funeral. As it would be impossible to thank you all individually, please accept this acknowledgement as our heartfelt appreciation. We apologise if we have unintentionally omitted anyone and thank all who supported us in any way during this difficult time.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
The Month`s Mind Mass for Michael will be celebrated in St Theresa’s Church Sion Mills
on Friday 6th February at 7pm
