The death has occurred of:
Michael McCoy
We the family of the late Michael McCoy wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who offered their sympathy and support during our recent sad bereavement. Thank you to our extended family, neighbours, work colleagues and friends who called to the house, brought food, sent mass cards and made donations to Marie Curie in lieu of flowers.
Thank you to Canon Toner for his visits to Michael in the hospital and at home and for his prayers during the wake and funeral mass.
We appreciate everyone’s generosity and kindness. Thank you to Catherine Grimley and Dermot for their beautiful music and singing at the funeral service, and to Andy Stevenson for preparing Michaels final resting place. A special thank you to the medical teams at the MacMillan Centre Craigavon and Daisy Hill and to Dr Larkin and Dr McNicholl and staff at Dundalk Street surgery, Newtownhamilton. We are especially thankful to Siobhan Burns and the team of district nurses, and to the care team from trust home care. We are also forever thankful to the Marie Curie service for their care and support during Michaels final days.
Thank you to Devin McShane (Mulkerns Eurospar) for providing beautiful refreshments during the wake, and to our extended family for their tireless support during the wake and funeral process, we are eternally grateful.
We would also like to extend a thank you to Ollie Keenan for his support and to Gary Keenan and staff for the beautiful meal provided after Michael’s funeral.
Finally, a very special thank you to Fintan Flood & Sons for the respectful and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral services.
As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we hope that this acknowledgement highlights our heartfelt expression of appreciation and gratitude to all who supported our family, we are truly grateful.
Michael’s months mind mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church Cullyhanna on Friday 7th November at 7pm where everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served in the pub following the months mind mass.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace Michael.
From May McCoy and Family.
