We the family of the late Michael McKenna wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all our family, friends and neighbours for all the support, sympathy, offers of help and very kind generosity during our recent sad bereavement of our dearest husband, daddy and brother.

To all those who sympathised with us, prayed for us, brought/sent mass cards, sympathy cards, food, made tea, brought flowers, left messages via social media, phoned, joined the funeral mass via web cam, all who called at the family home and travelled from afar for the wake and funeral, thank you.

A very special word of thanks to Fr McCamley for the very fitting funeral mass, it was perfect. Thanks to the Eucharistic minister and the Sacristan. To Dean Donaghy and Fr Conleth Meehan, thank you.

Thank you to Malachi Cush and Damien Cullen for the beautiful music and singing during the mass.

To Dr McKay and all the staff at Ardmore Medical Practiceand Medi-Care Chemist Thomas Street, thank you.

Thank you to Marie Curie and all the different services who attended to daddy at home.

A very special word of thanks to Marian and the District Nursing Team, who cared for daddy down through the years with such care and dedication and were such a great support to us.

Thanks to Edendork GAC for the kind use of equipment and chairs. To Alskea for all your help thank you. To EdendorkPrimary School and Keylite, thank you for the guard of honour.

To Kieran and Peter, the grave diggers, thank you for all yourhelp and assistance.

We sincerely thank PJ Quinn & Son Funeral Directors for your dignified professionalism, guidance and support throughout.

Thank you to the Glenavon House Hotel for the food for the wake and the lovey refreshments after the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the mass will be offered up for your intentions.

Daddy’s months mind mass will be celebrated in St Malachy’s Church Edendork on Monday 16th of March at 7.30pm.
Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts.
