Months Mind Acknowledgement
We as a family would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through the recent loss of our father.
A special word of thanks to our family, friends and neighbours whose endless work and support was invaluable throughout the wake. Providing food, serving food and parking cars. Your acts of kindness will not be forgotten.
We were incredibly touched by all who visited our family home during the wake, attended the funeral and shared so many happy memories of daddy especially from his days on the bread-van.
To the Beragh Red Knights we will be forever grateful to you for organising and controlling the shuttle bus to and from the wake, to everyone who stood out in the cold assisting with traffic, for the use of your facilities and for your on-going love and support to us as a family.
Thank you to everyone who left us food, cooked meals, sent flowers, sent mass & sympathy cards, wrote letters and posted lovely online tributes.
Thank you to Cahal for the marquee, to PD coaches for the shuttle bus, to Balloo hire for the lighting and to those who kept the road clear with the weather conditions.
Heartfelt thanks to Fr Sean McCartan for his spiritual guidance and for celebrating such a beautiful and meaningful requiem mass.
A special thank you to the Hurson Family for the beautiful singing and music which added so much.
Thank you to the eucharist ministers, the altar servers and all who participated in the mass.
Thanks also to Fr McCrory and all the other priests over the years for their pastoral support to daddy.
We are very grateful to Leo, Donaghy & Montague Funeral Directors, for his professional and personal manner in which he carried out all the arrangements and we keep Paddy in our prayers.
Thank you also to Ciaran Conroy for preparing daddy’s resting place with such attention and care.
Heartfelt thanks to everyone who lined the funeral route outside their homes and businesses and to The Beragh Red Knights and The Breacach Handball Club for their guard-of-honour before and after the funeral. It was very touching and special.
Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and community nurses who cared for daddy throughout his life. To Craigavon Area hospital for their support and understanding and to Tallons chemist Sixmilecross for their constant support.
Thanks so much to Farley’s Bar and all the staff for providing the lovely food after the funeral.
Please accept this acknowledgement as our sincere thanks to each and every one who helped us in any way.
Daddy’s Months Mind Mass and Mammy’s 8th Anniversary will be celebrated on Thursday 5th Feb @ 7.30pm in The Church of the Immaculate Conception Beragh.
Forever in our Hearts
