The death has occurred of:
Mona McVEIGH (née McDonald)
The family of the late Mona McVeigh (nee McDonald) of 12 Garvagh Road, Donaghmore, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent sad bereavement.
Our sincere gratitude to Fr. Gerard McAleer for his spiritual support and guidance and for celebrating Mona’s beautiful Requiem Mass and to the Eucharistic Ministers and Church Sacristan for their help. Thanks also to Mona's nephew and niece PJ and Grainne McDonald, to Damien Cullen and to Mona’s granddaughters for providing the beautiful music.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped care for Mona especially the doctors, nurses and staff at Belfast City Hospital, St John’s Hospice Newry, Ward 4 North at CAH and Parkview Surgery.
We are indebted to all those who supported us during Mona's wake with traffic management and food. Thanks to eveyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and kind messages of condolence.
We would sincerely like to thank Niall A Loughran funeral directors for the efficient, dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements during this difficult time.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Mona is loved and missed every day, may her gentle soul be granted peace and eternal rest, her months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 2nd September 2023 at 6pm in St Patrick’s Church Donaghmore and can be viewed on the link below:
