Monica Casey
Month’s Mind Mass & Acknowledgement
Monica’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 16th October at 6.30pm
in the Sacred Heart Church, Derry Road, Strabane.
We, the Family of the late Monica Casey wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who
have supported our family following the sad passing of our beloved wife and mother.
To our family and friends, we cannot thank you enough for the kindness and support
you have shown us during this very difficult time. We are especially grateful to everyone who called to the house,
attended the wake and funeral, sent messages, cards and flowers, offered prayers,
or helped over the course of the wake and funeral.
Our sincere thanks to the Strabane District Nurses, the Foyle Hospice Community Nurses,
Day Hospice Team, Marie Curie Nurses and all the health professionals who supported us
in caring for Mummy throughout her illness.
A special word of thanks to Fr McCaughey and Fr Boland for their prayers, guidance and support
throughout Mummy’s illness, wake and funeral.
We are also deeply grateful to Fr Francis Bradley and Fr Christopher (SMA) for concelebrating Mummy’s Funeral Mass,
which was a beautiful and fitting celebration of her life.
Heartfelt thanks to Bridgeen McManus and Noel McGinley for the beautiful music during Mummy’s Funeral Mass.
The singing and music brought such warmth, peace and beauty to the ceremony and provided great comfort to us as a family.
We extend our gratitude to Jude and the staff at Quigley Funeral Directors for the caring and professional manner
in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
Thank you to Sinead and all her staff at St Pat’s Hall, Strabane, for providing the lovely refreshments following the burial.
We also gratefully acknowledge all those who made donations in lieu of flowers.
As it is impossible to thank everyone for their support and prayers, but we trust this acknowledgement
will be seen as a sincere appreciation of our thanks.
Mummy was deeply loved, and she will be forever missed and lovingly remembered
by all her family and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Our Lady of Knock, pray for her.
