***Acknowledgement / Month Mind Notice***
Moya McCrudden née Harkin
Died - 5th March 2026
We, the family of the late Moya McCrudden, who passed away on the 5th March 2026, would like to sincerely thank everyone who offered sympathy, kindness and support during the recent bereavement of our beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and Gigi.
We thank the people who attended her wake and funeral, and those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of condolence. Hearing your stories and seeing how much she was thought of helped us more than words can say. Thankyou for being there.
To our kind neighbours and friends who brought food to the wake or helped in anyway, our deepest appreciation.
Special word of thanks to the hospital at home team nurses Myra, Kerry, Donna, Leah, Julie, Niamh, Ruth, Robyn, Donal, Cepta and her district nurses Ciara and Donna. Without you all we would not been able to have that special time with our much loved mother, mother in law, granny and Gigi. To Sweeneys Chemist Paula and Susan for everything over the years.
Our sincere thanks to Fr. Mc Faul who celebrated a beautiful Requiem Mass, and his words about Moya touched us deeply.
We are grateful to Moya’s beautiful niece Rachel, for her singing and music, which added so much to the Requiem Mass.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Kieran Connor and his team at McClafferty Funeral Directors for their kindness, professionalism and support throughout the wake and funeral. Their guidance and attention to detail were such a great comfort to our family during such a difficult time. Thankyou also to the gravediggers who prepared Moya’s final resting place.
Finally, the prayers, kindness and sympathy shown by so many people have been a great comfort to our family. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.
Moya’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan at 10:30am on 5th April 2026 (Easter Sunday).
