We, the family of the late Niall Murphy wish to extend our deep gratitude and sincere thanks to all who offered condolences, sympathised, prayed for us and supported us in various ways through our sudden and unexpected bereavement. Niall was a devoted family man. Husband of Nicola and adored father to Éirinn, Teagan, Georgia and Davóg. Son of Kathleen and Gregory (RIP), son-in-law of Linda and Kevin Corrigan, brother to Bernard, Sinead (Michael), Lorraine (Gareth) and Liam and cherished Uncle and Godfather.
A sincere thank you to all who sent Mass cards, attended the wake, phoned and attended the funeral in person or online and travelled from afar to be with us. Special thanks to Kamal Mahal and Norman Coulter from the Horseshoe and Saddlers for providing food at the wake, to Kris Reid for providing canopies at the wake house.
Thank you to Paul Mohan Funeral Director for the dignified and professional manners in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Thanks to all who helped carry Niall's coffin to his final resting place. To Mount Lourdes Grammar school, Holy Trinity Primary school and Áine McGirr school of dance for providing guard of honours at the funeral and to the grave diggers who prepared Niall’s resting place.
A heartfelt thank you to Lisa and Roy Persse for organising the flowers and refreshments at the funeral, to Jacqui Bannon for her beautiful singing at the funeral Mass and to Sarah McKeever for her talented music on the harp.
Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to father Raymond Donnelly who directed and guided the family through this difficult period and for giving Niall a very special requiem Mass along with Father Brendan Gallagher and Canon Macartan McQuaid. Thank you also to Father Brian D'Arcy who took part in the burial ceremony, to Father Anthony O’Leary who gave Niall his last rites and to all the priests who visited and supported the family during their bereavement.
A special word of thanks to all the brave paramedics and PSNI officers who attended the scene and did their utmost to care for Niall and the family. Along with Dean and Ian. We will forever and always be grateful.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our families gratitude. Niall was loved and cherished by all his family and friends and will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.
Months mind mass will take place in St Michael’s Church, Enniskillen on Saturday 02nd May at 6pm.
