DUFFIN (Ballinderry)
The family of the late Oliver Duffin RIP would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of those who sympathised and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We would like to acknowledge all of those who attended the wake, telephoned us, sent Mass and Sympathy cards, sent floral tributes, messaged through social media and attended Oliver's funeral Mass.
To all our relatives, neighbours and friends who helped during the wake, those who brought food and refreshments and served tea we will be forever grateful. Thank you to Ballinderry Shamrocks members who sorted the wake and funeral carparking and who formed a Guard of Honour for Oliver at the funeral. Also thank you to the pupils of Derrychrin Primary School for their Guard of Honor at the Football pitch.
Sincere thanks to all the Doctors ,Nurses and Carers of Ward A3, Antrim Hospital, Urology Ward, Craigavon Hospital, Coagh District Nursing Team and Garden Street Surgery, Magherafelt who looked after Oliver with dignity, kindness and sensitivity during his illness.
Special word of thanks to Father Peter Donnelly, PP for his kindness and support, for visiting Oliver in hospital and for the celebration of the Requiem Mass. Thanks to John for preparing the Church and the ladies who prepared the lovely altar flowers. Thank you to Margaret Anne and Patrick for the beautiful music and thanks to Gary for preparing Oliver’s final resting place.
Thanks to Ballinderry Community Hub for the food served after Oliver’s Funeral Mass.
A heartful thanks to Mark and Philip of Cassidy Funeral Directors for their guidance, professional support and the dignified way the funeral was arranged and conducted.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered early in the New Year for everyone’s intentions. Oliver’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday 22nd December at 7.30 pm in St Patricks Church, Ballinderry. Mass is available to watch on the Parish webcam at the link - https://www.churchservices.tv/ballinderry
