Oliver LENNON
The family of the late Oliver Lennon, Forthglen, Cookstown, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent bereavement.
We are indebted to all those who visited, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, messages and expressed their condolences via telephone and social media. We took great solace on the morning of the funeral from the support of everyone who lined the funeral cortege route, from those who joined us at the Chapel, and from those who viewed Oliver’s funeral Mass online.
Our sincere gratitude to Fr. Hughes, Fr. Slater and Fr. O'Boyle for their spiritual support and guidance and for celebrating Oliver’s beautiful Requiem Mass.
A special word of thanks to Patricia Maguire, Gerry Loughran, Rory Madden and Cathal Corey for providing the lovely singing and music which added so much to the Funeral Mass and made it so memorable. Thank you also to the Church Sacristan, Eucharistic Ministers, and all those who participated in the funeral liturgy.
Thank you to Adrian Bell, Drone Services NI, for kindly producing the drone coverage which allowed those who could not attend the opportunity to view Oliver’s funeral cortege.
A special word of thanks to the gravediggers who prepared Oliver’s resting place with great care and to all those who helped us in any way.
We would sincerely like to thank Colleen & Joanna and all at Niall A Loughran funeral directors for the very efficient, dignified, and professional manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements.
Thank you to Greenvale House Hotel for the refreshments during the wake and after Oliver's Funeral Mass, also to The Millwheel Bar for providing Sandwiches and Soup and Dittys Bakery for supplying Pastries/Home baked goods over the wake.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff in the MacMillan Ward in Antrim Area Hospital for the High Level of Care provided to Oliver. We also wish to thank the staff at Oaks Family Practice and Boots Chemist (Burn Road)
We also wish to Thank Every Single Person who has donated to Oliver's Go Fund Me Page for the Macmillan Unit at Antrim Area Hospital, your kindness, generosity and support has been so overwhelming and we as a family appreciate every single donation. Oliver has raised an amazing total of £23,409
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Oliver’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 10th March 2023 @ 7.30pm in St. Mary's Church, Dunamore and can be viewed on the church webcam link below.
