The family circle of the late Paddy Montague would like to express our deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who offered their condolences, prayers and support during our recent sad bereavement. Deepest thanks to everyone who travelled from near and far to attend the wake in Donaghy's Funeral Home. To those family and friends who worked tirelessly to support us at this time, we offer our sincerest thanks. We extend our gratitude to those who brought food, served food, sent Mass or Sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu.
A special word of thanks to Father Sean Mc Cartan P.P for his spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. We are deeply grateful for his great support to Paddy in recent months and for the very moving homily which captured Paddy perfectly. Thanks to Monsignor Colm Curry for his part in the Requiem mass also. We convey our appreciation to Slyvia and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, thanks to Claire Mc Aleer and her daughter Anna who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to Leo Donaghy Funeral Director for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Agnes, Barry and Michael Mc Guigan (Gortin), for their support as well. Thanks to Brendan for preparing Paddy’s final resting place.
Thank you to those who attended the Requiem Mass, lined the funeral route and formed the Guards of Honour. A special note of thanks to the local Funeral Directors who paid their respects to their fellow Colleague in a deeply moving and dignified way.
A special note of thanks to Easilink for the beautiful tribute to Paddy which we will treasure.
Thank you to Beragh Red Knights for their use of the Pavillion and Farley's for the beautiful food. And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the healthcare professionals who cared for Paddy. In particular, heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare staff of Ward 4 North, Craigavon Area Hospital for the kindness, care and respect they showed Paddy during his time there. We would also extend our warmest gratitude to all the visitors and well-wishers during Paddy’s illness.
Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude to each and every one who helped us.
Paddy is loved and missed every day. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Church of the Immaculate Conception, on Sunday 29th March at 11.30am. St Patrick, pray for him.
