RAFFERTY - Pádraig
The wife (Philomena) and family of the late Pádraig Rafferty wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who supported us during our recent sad loss.
Our sincere thanks to the Galbally/Killeeshil first responders & the NIAS emergency services who attended Pádraig on the night and to Father Hannigan for giving him his final blessing.
Thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, Carers who attended Pádraig at his home and also to O’Neill’s Pharmacy, Ballygawley.
Our gratitude also goes to Fr. Slater for his words of guidance during this difficult time and for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass and to Fr. Breslin and Fr. McGuckin for their kind words of comfort.
A special word of thanks to everyone who attended the wake and funeral and those who travelled long distances to be with us.
Thank you to everyone who called, sent messages of sympathy, cards, gifts and flowers or helped in any way, your kindness and presence brought great comfort to us all.
Thank you to everyone who supplied food, parked cars, provided buses and equipment for the wake.
To our family, friends & neighbours who kindly made and served tea - thank you for your invaluable support.
We extend our thanks to Caoimhe Loughran, Rory Madden and Aislinn Rafferty for the beautiful singing and music. This made the funeral mass truly special.
We would like to sincerely thank E. Quinn & Sons Funeral Directors for their professionalism, compassion and care in carrying out the funeral arrangements.
Thank you to Quinn’s Corner for providing the wonderful meal following the funeral.
We are deeply grateful to Galbally Pearses GAC for providing the Guard of Honour both at the house and the Chapel, and thanks to our friends and neighbours for preparing the grave.
Thank you to the Irish News for their heartwarming tribute to Pádraig
Finally, as it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement is accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Pádraig’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 14th November at 7.30pm in St John’s Baptist Chapel, Galbally.
The Rafferty Family,
Dernanaught
