Patricia (Paddy) SCOTT (née Mackay)
SCOTT - (nee Mackay) -
The Family of the late Paddy (Patricia) Scott wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with and supported them in their recent bereavement.
A heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of the Hospital at Home Team; the Doctors and Staff at Ardmore Medical Practice, Dungannon; the Marie Curie Nurse whose expertise and kindness supported us in those final hours; and Social Worker Lisa Marie Coyle, the Southern Health and Social Care Trust Team, and the District Nurses.
A special thanks to Dungannon Swifts for honouring Paddy with a minute's silence before their match against Bangor, and also for the loan of chairs for the wake. Thank you to Brackaville Owen Roes GFC for the loan of the club's crockery, to Lisnagleer Community Centre and our neighbours for providing extra car parking, and to June, Geraldine, Martina, and Diana, who helped so much at home and served refreshments to those who came to pay their respects.
Many thanks to Ian Greer at Tyrone Courier for the beautiful tribute in the paper.
Sincere thanks to Rev Canon Matthew Hagan MBE DL for his care and spiritual guidance during Paddy's illness and wake, and for conducting the funeral service at Brackaville Parish Church. Thank you to Malachi Cush and Plunkett McGartland for the beautiful singing and music Paddy would have so enjoyed, and to the organist Edna Mullan. We also extend our gratitude to the gravedigger Darren Spratt and Church Sexton George Robinson, who prepared her resting place with great care. We also thank Muriel and her team at Muriel’s Catering, who provided a delicious funeral tea in the Church Hall.
To all the kind Friends and Neighbours who called at our home, brought gifts, sent messages of sympathy, telephoned, sent floral tributes, or gave donations to The Donkey Sanctuary and Marie Curie; and to everyone who attended the funeral or helped in any way; we are deeply grateful.
Finally, a special thanks to Dereck and June at Dereck Marshall & Sons Funeral Directors for the care, professionalism, advice, and kindness they showed our Family. They made a difficult time feel manageable.
Trusting that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all in grateful appreciation.
