ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The family of the late Patricia Leppard RIP wish to express our gratitude to extended family,
friends, neighbours and the wider community who supported us in our recent loss. Our
heartfelt thanks to those who attended the wake, funeral and those who travelled long
distances; sent mass cards, sympathy cards and offered support in numerous other ways.
Sincere thanks to Fr Gerard Mongan for the meaningful Requiem Mass and prayers at the
graveside. Also thanks to Fr Gerard and Fr Roni Zacharias for visiting Mum at home to say
prayers and provide last rites. Michelle Conaghan, Robert Peoples and Gerard Bradley for
the lovely music at the funeral mass and all the chapel staff. Kieran O’Carolan for the
beautiful and fitting music at the graveside and all the cemetery staff.
Our sincere appreciation goes to all the healthcare workers who cared for Mum with such
compassion, District Nurses, Marie Curie Nurses, and the Foyle Hospice Nurses, Mairead
and Pamela. Dr McClune and Dr Hibbert from Park Medical, Out of Hours, Western Urgent
Care, Occupational Therapists and Dietitians for calling to her home and Staff of Belmont
Pharmacy.
We also extend our gratitude to the staff of W J O’Brien & Son, funeral directors, especially
Kieran and Ian, for the caring, dignified and professional manner in which they looked after
arrangements.
We are sincerely grateful to Mum’s carers from Advanced Care, Northwest Care, Bryson
Care and her private carers, thank you for the exceptional care given to Mum.
The staff of Sevenoaks, Foyleville, Deeds and Bridge Accessible Transport who were so
attentive to Mum.
A big thank you to the Gasyard for providing refreshments and equipment during the wake,
those who helped serve the food and also the Cosh Bar for the meal after the funeral.
Special thanks to the Slievemore Rosary Group and the wider St Joseph’s Parish community
for looking out for Mum over the years.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement conveys our
sincere gratitude for the kindness shown to our family at this difficult time.
Patricia’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph’s Church, Galliagh, on Sunday
15th March, at 11.00am
