Acknowledgement
Patrick Joseph (Pat) Daly
The family of the late Pat Daly, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all family, friends and neighbours for their kindness, sympathy, support, and generosity, on our recent sad bereavement.
We have been overwhelmed with the number of people who called at the house, attended the wake and funeral, sent cards, messages of sympathy, floral tributes, supplied food or helped in any way.
Thanks to the members and management of the various Coursing Clubs and Dog Tracks, in particular Dungannon, Derry, Lifford, Westmeath and Clonmel, who called at the house or sent messages of sympathy. Thanks also to Pat’s Coursing Club friends, who formed a guard of Honour at the church entrance.
A special thanks to those who looked after Pat during his illness especially the NI Ambulance Service, Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Mandeville Unit, Haematology Ward, 3 North Medical, Palliative Care Team at Craigavon Area Hospital, Moy Health Centre and District Nurses Dungannon.
We are very grateful to Father John Heagney and Father Thomas Mc Hugh for celebrating such a meaningful Requiem Mass, for their guidance and support and visiting Pat during his illness. Thanks also to Canon Eugene Sweeney and Father Peter McAnenly for their prayers and kindness.
A very special thank you to the musicians Pat Casey, the Daly Grandchildren and Gerry Cunningham for the uplifting traditional music which Pat loved and appreciated so much throughout his life.
Thanks to Paudge Quinn & Son for their efficient and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
Finally, thanks to Vincent & Marian Daly and the staff of the Ryandale Moy for providing refreshments for the wake and the beautiful meal after the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
Pat’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on
Thursday 4th December at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Eglish.
