Patrick (Paddy) McGuinness
It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick (Paddy) McGuinness, peacefully at Culmore Manor Care Home on 12th January 2026.
Former postman and late of 21 St. Brigid’s Avenue, Derry. May he rest in peace.
Beloved son of the late William and Mary. Loving brother of the late Rita, Bridie, Mickey, Jim, Sadie, Kathleen and Billy. A much loved uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends.
Paddy’s remains will be reposing at the McClafferty Funeral Home and Chapel of Rest tomorrow, Tuesday 13th January from 6pm until 9pm. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday 14th January at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Burial will take place afterwards in the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery, Muff.
