The death has occurred of:
Patrick Neeson
The wife and family of the late Patrick Neeson would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us following the sad loss of our beloved Patrick, a devoted husband, much-loved father and grandfather, brother and a cherished family member and friend.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the ambulance service for their prompt response, to the staff in A&E who cared for Patrick, especially Dr Krishnaswami and to all the staff on Ward A6 in Antrim Area Hospital. Thank you for the kindness, compassion, love and care you showed him during his time with you. It brought us great comfort knowing he was in such caring hands.
Our sincere thanks to Fr O’Reilly for taking the time to visit Patrick in hospital and for the beautiful funeral ceremony, which meant so much to us all.
We are deeply grateful to Brendan & Thomas O’Brien Funeral Directors Limavady, who went above and beyond in every way and guided us through such a difficult time with the utmost kindness, dignity and compassion.
A special thank you to the Gribbin girls for their beautiful singing during the funeral ceremony, which made the service so special and memorable.
We would also like to thank Moneyglass Community Centre for providing the venue for refreshments afterwards, and Arbutus catering for the beautiful food and refreshments provided.
Finally, we would like to thank everyone who called to Patrick’s wake, attended his funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages, food and flowers, and offered their condolences and support. We are especially grateful to all those who helped with traffic and ensured everything ran smoothly. Every act of kindness, every kind word and every thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and helped us through this heartbreaking time.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank each and every one of you. The love, kindness and support shown to Patrick and to all our family will never be forgotten. At a time when words are difficult to find, your thoughtfulness has brought us great comfort, and we will always be deeply grateful.
May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
Patrick’s months mind will be held on 24th October at 6pm at Our Lady of Lourdes, Moneyglass.
