***Acknowledgement – Month Mind Notice***

Paula McCourt (née O'Leary)

Died - 22nd September 2026

Paula's husband Colin, her children Eamon, Seaná and Caitlin, her brother Kevin and her sisters Maura and Karen, would like to express our sincere gratitude for the kindness and support shown to us by our wider family, friends and neighbours following our recent bereavement.

Thank you to everyone who called to the house and or attended the funeral, supplied food, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and messages of condolences, flowers or made donations in lieu of flowers and travelled long distances to be with us.

We would like to express our gratitude to the doctors and staff at Racecourse Medical, Foyle Hospice Community, District and Marie Curie Nurses, Dr. Ursula McGivern and her team in the Oncology Department at Belfast City Hospital, and Dr. Hans Nagar and his team also at Belfast City Hospital for the care and support shown to Paula throughout her illness. Thank you also to the staff of MediCare Pharmacy at Racecourse Road.

Sincere thanks to the priests at St Eugene's Cathedral, Fr. Paul Farren who attended to Paula in her final days, and to Fr. Shaun Doherty for his beautiful, touching homily and Mass and his spiritual guidance.

Thank you to Roisin Rice and the organist for the music and beautiful singing at Paula's Requiem Mass.

We will always remember and appreciate the professional, dignified and sympathetic manner in which McClafferty Funeral Directors cared for Paula and carried out her funeral arrangements and would like to express our heart felt thanks.

Thank you to the staff of the City Hotel for the care and attention provided after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Paula's Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry on Friday 20th November at 7.30pm. All welcome.
