CONWAY (Ballinderry)
We, the family of the late Paul ‘Bambo’ Conway R.I.P would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Our gratitude goes to all those who attended the wake, telephoned, sent mass and sympathy cards or letters of condolence or attended the Funeral Mass. To those who gave donations to ‘AWARE NI’. thank you for your generosity.
To all our relatives, neighbours and friends who helped during the wake; those who brought food and refreshments and served teas. To Ballinderry Shamrocks GAC for organising the stewarding and car parking and to the Farrell family for the use of their field as a car park, we will be forever grateful.
Sincere thanks to the Emergency services who attended.
A Special thank you to Fr Peter Donnelly P.P. for the celebration of the Requiem Mass and to Nicola, Joanne, Patrick and Nigel for the beautiful music and singing.
Thanks also to Noel for the lovely piping.
We would also like to acknowledge the GAA clubs for the Guard of Honour, representing Paul’s involvement in playing and management over the years. Thanks also, to his 1995 teammates for escorting Paul to Shamrock Park.
We would like to thank Ballinderry Shamrocks GAC for the use of their wonderful facility for the beautiful food and refreshments and to those who kindly prepared and served it.
Finally, we would like to commend Mark and Philip Cassidy of Cassidy Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified way the funeral arrangements were carried out and to Gary for preparing Paul’s resting place.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Paul’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 17th June at 7.30 p.m. in St Patrick’s Church Ballinderry.
