The death has occurred of:
Paul Martin
We the brothers Kieran and Colin Martin, of the late Paul Martin want to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. To those who attended the wake and funeral, those that travelled a distance, watched online, sent cards and made donations in lieu of flowers to The Foyle Deaf Association, it was greatly appreciated.
A special thanks to Fr Michael Doherty for the lovely Requiem Mass and his sacristan Michael.
A sincere gratitude to Cormac Leonard for signing for Paul’s friends. That added that special touch to the Mass.
Thanks to Ciara Quinn for her beautiful singing and Noel McGinley for the accompanying music. A word of thanks to the nurses and doctors in Altnagelvin Hospital for their exceptional level of care for Paul during his short illness, to the doctors and nurses in the Renal Unit in Omagh Hospital also for their care of Paul and to his GP’s and staff in the Riverside Practice Strabane. We are extremely grateful to Jude and his staff at Quigley Funeral Directors for their professionalism and dignified manor on how they carried out their duties. A word of thanks also to Con Tinney the grave digger. Thanks to the staff at Parkland 33 and Strabane Golf Club who provided refreshments after the Funeral Mass. We would like to thank our extended family for their support and help during this time. A special thanks to Paul’s friends of the deaf community that attended the wake and funeral in big numbers. This was greatly appreciated and meant so much to us.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust you will accept this acknowledgement as a thank you for all your help and sympathy.
Paul’s Month`s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church Melmount on Sunday 16th February at 12.30pm.
