A letter of ‘Acknowledgment and Appreciation’ from the family of the late Paul McAliskey, Coole Road, Coalisland.

The family (Aloysius, Dolores and Claire) and girlfriend (Kerri-Marie) of the late Paul McAliskey R.I.P. wish to express our gratitude to everyone who supported us on the very sudden and sad bereavement.

Sincere thanks to our extended family, friends, wonderful neighbours, The Pharmacy Federation, Kelly’s Chemist, The Friary Surgery Armagh and all Paul’s Pharmacy Colleagues, those who sent Mass/ Sympathy cards, flowers, posted on-line tributes, telephoned, brought food, called and helped during the wake, assisted with the car park, helped with carrying Paul’s coffin, attended and assisted with the funeral/ participated via the webcam or indeed, helped in anyway.

Thanks to Gary Harte for preparing Paul’s final resting place and to John Hughes for driving Paul’s much-loved tractor in leading the funeral.
Thanks also; to Andrea and John from Gillprint, for providing Paul’s Requiem Mass booklets.

A special word of thanks to The First Responders, Paramedics, Police Officers, The Air Ambulance Team and Coroners who attended to Paul with much dignity and respect.

Sincere thanks to Fr John McCallion for his strength and support throughout Paul’s wake and for his beautiful Requiem mass.

We are forever grateful to Canon Fee, Fr. Dan Ryan and Fr. Colm Curry for their spiritual guidance, company and support during the wake and funeral.

A heartfelt and authentic thanks to Briege Canavan and Nuala McCormick, for their lovely singing and music.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude and profound appreciation to Patsy, Sinead and Edel Taggart for their high standard of professionalism and for the caring, compassionate and dignified manner in which they organised Paul’s wake and funeral.

Also; we want to thank The Washingbay Centre, Derryloughan, for providing the lovely ‘After Funeral Refreshments’.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all, as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.

Paul’s ‘Month’s Mind Mass’ will be celebrated on Tuesday, 5th August,
at 7:30pm, in Church of St. Brigid, Brockagh.
