We the family of the late Pearse Mc Closkey would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all of those who sympathised, prayed and supported us throughout our recent, sad bereavement.

The family would like to thank all the health care professionals who helped with Pearse's care. Sincere thanks to the staff of South West Acute Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital, Foyle Hospice Community Specialist Palliative Care Team, WHSCT Omagh District Nursing Team, Marie Curie Nurses and all the wonderful carers who provided Pearse with such exceptional care and supported us through Pearse’s illness. Sincere gratitude to the staff of Grange Family Practice and Slevin's Chemist, Omagh for their invaluable help.

Thanks to Father Kevin McElhennon and Father Declan Mc Geehan for their spiritual support to Pearse and the family throughout his illness and during the wake.
A special thanks to Father Kevin McElhennon for a truly meaningful funeral mass. Thanks to the Sacristan, Eucharist Ministers and everyone who took part in the liturgy. Special thanks to Fionnuala Colton and David Doonan for the beautiful singing and music.

Heartfelt thanks to our family, friends and Killyclogher GAC who helped and assisted us tirelessly at the wake, providing food, managing traffic and making tea. We will forever be indebted to you all for your kindness, compassion and the support given to our family.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all who attended the wake and the funeral service, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messages on social media and all who provided us with food.

We are grateful to those who donated to Foyle Hospice Community Specialist Palliative Care Team and Omagh District Nursing Team in lieu of flowers.

Sincere thanks to all who took part in the guards of honour from Killyclogher GAC, Loreto Grammar School Omagh, Skyzdalimit Omagh and Dungannon All Stars. Our family was deeply touched by the kind gesture.

Special thanks to O'Kane Bros undertakers and staff for the dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and for all the kindness and support they gave to us. We thank the grave diggers for preparing Pearse's final resting place.

Thanks to Cappagh Parish Hall for the use of their facilities and a special word of thanks to the ladies from Killyclogher GAC who organised and provided refreshments after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

Pearse's Month's Mind Mass will take place on Thursday 5th June at 7.30pm in Christ the King Church, Strathroy.
