Peggie Donaghy (née O’Hagan )
The family of the late Peggie Donaghy, Dungiven wish to acknowledge our sincere appreciation and thanks to all who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us during our recent and sad bereavement.
We want to especially thank the Staff of Anns Care home Edenvale, the Staff of Ward 24,Altnagelvin Hospital, Dr Byrne & Dr Knox, District Nursing Team, McDaids Pharmacy, Bryson Carers and Northwest Carers who cared for mammy, also thank you to private carers Deborah, Christine, Jackie and Sharon for all your help and support.
We want to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in anyway, sent Mass cards and sympathy cards, private messages, floral tributes ,attended the wake and the funeral or watched via the church webcam and to those who stood during the funeral cortege.
A special word of thanks to Fr Séamus Kelly for his spiritual support, attending the wake and Celebrating the Requiem Mass, also to Fr Sweeney for his prayers and attention.
Thank you to Joelene and Martin for the beautiful singing in the Chapel and to Cathals flowers for the lovely arrangements, Annie Joe the church sacristan, Martin Myles for traffic management, Sean Mullan for preparing the final resting place and to Peach & Passion Cafe for the lovely funeral tea.
A final thank you to Seamus, Deborah, Eugene and John of McLaughlin Funeral Directors, for all their support and for the dignified and professional way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Peggie’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 11th January in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven at 9am. Everyone is invited for tea in the adjoining church hall after mass.
