Peggy Quinn (née Friel )
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Peggy Quinn née Friel peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by loving family on Thursday 21st of May 2026. May she rest in peace.
Late of Cornfield Care Centre and historically from The Grange, Dungiven, Co Derry.
Beloved wife of the recently deceased John RIP and loving mother of Mark (Claire), Sharon (Vincent)Doherty, Billy (Rosaleen), Carl (Particia), Adrian (Nyree), Joanne (Stefan)Gibson, Claire (Ciaran) and Cathy (Paul).
A devoted and loving grandmother of Olivia & Rocco, Aine, Niamh, Shauna & Aoife, Charlie & Ann, Hannah, Sean & Maria, Sullivan & Grace, Annabel, Ivor & Shannon, Eva, Ben, Cate & Anna, Noah & Maisie, also a loving great grandmother.
Dear sister of Mary (Farrow), James (late), Father John (late), Bridget (Kearney)(late),Peter, Eileen (Rami), Chrissie (Diamond) and Colm (late).
Deeply regretted by the Quinn and Friel family circles.
Peggy will be waked at Sharon & Vincent’s home - 856 Glenshane Road, Dungiven.
Wake will commence at 6.30pm today Thursday (21st).
Family time 10pm to 12noon.
Funeral on Saturday 23rd of May 2026 leaving Sharon & Vincent’s home at 1.20pm for 2pm Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard with her late husband John RIP.
