The death has occurred of:
Peggy CAMPBELL
The Family of the late Peggy Campbell (RIP) who passed away on 28th June 2025 would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all who offered their condolences, prayers and support following Peggy’s death.
We would especially like to thank the entire family circle, friends, work colleagues, neighbours and everyone that attended the wake, removal to Church, Requiem Mass, watched the funeral service online, sent Mass and sympathy cards. Your presence and reflections on Peggy’s life have been very important to us.
We also wish to thank those who brought gifts of food to the wake and to those who worked tirelessly in providing tea and refreshments for everyone coming to Peggy’s home.
As a Family, we wish to extend a very sincere thank you for the excellent care given to Peggy over the years by all the medical, and support staff of Three Spires Medical Practice; the staff from Kelly’s Pharmacy, the District Nursing Team and the nursing, medical and other healthcare staff who tended professionally and sensitively to Peggy in the South West Acute Hospital. We are also indebted to the social work staff from the Omagh Community Older People’s Service and to the Carers from Lakeland Community Care who supported Peggy in her own home and ensured her wishes and choices were always accommodated.
We would like to thank Father Damian Bresnahan, Society of African Missions and Monsignor Peter O’Reilly, St Michael’s Enniskillen for their prayerful attention to Peggy in South West Acute hospital- that provided great support to us a Family. We sincerely appreciate Father Eugene Hasson for his flexibility in ensuring Peggy’s wishes on her funeral arrangements were realised. His friendship to Peggy over many years and his appropriately personalised Requiem Mass and burial service, provided much comfort.
As a Family we appreciate how Peggy’s funeral service was significantly enhanced by the contribution of the Sacristan Declan Norris, the Eucharistic Ministers, Mary McGlone, Betty Baxter and Aidan Quinn and the beautiful music and singing provided by Marie Campbell and Louise Kirwan.
A special word of thanks is also extended to O’Kane Funeral Services for the professional, compassionate and non-intrusive way that Peggy’s funeral arrangements were carried out. Thanks also to the Kieran Maguire and Charlie Quinn for preparing Peggy’s final resting place in Drumragh cemetery. Thank you to MMB Catering for providing the refreshments following the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deepest appreciation and gratitude- your presence, actions and kind words have added to our many positive memories of Peggy. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Peggy’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Friday 25th July 2025 at 7.30pm at Sacred Heart Church, Omagh
Our Lady of Knock pray for her.
